The world of college sports has changed forever - and the ripple effects are still being felt across every campus, conference, and community in America.
Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) has fundamentally transformed the relationship between student-athletes, universities, and the marketplace. What started as a movement to give college athletes a piece of their own value has quickly evolved into a multi-billion-dollar ecosystem reshaping recruiting, team dynamics, alumni engagement, and institutional strategy.
The questions facing athletic departments, business leaders, and communities are no longer theoretical. They're urgent:
• Who controls the money - and who should?
• How are schools competing for talent in a landscape without a salary cap?
• What happens to the student-athlete experience when business interests take center stage?
• And what does all of this mean for the fans, the sponsors, and the long-term health of college sports?
• And is partnering with student-athletes good for your business? To answer these questions and more, CEOtoCEO is bringing together three of the most informed voices in the Pacific Northwest to tackle these questions head-on from uniquely different perspectives.
